When you have the mount do just what he would, punch as hard and fast as you can.
Your problem is when he has the mount as he has the best position in ground fighting... because he can punch down and you cannot reach him.

EPR = Explosive Physical Response

Apply arm bar to roll him off, then break arm.

Roll him over, before he can get you in his guard, push back and strike groin.

Trap one of his legs to the ground, capture his hands, draw your knee up and roll him diagonally over.

Using an outside wrist lock to set up the roll

Using a modification of an arm bar to set up the roll, then locking him up. Should follow up with a joint destruction

Grab arm, trap leg on other side, roll him, make space so you can punch groin.

Outside wrist lock used as part of a dismount move.

Escaping a rear mount, slide one hand forward, on the same side of your body straighten out your leg, roll him that way, as you go on top of him strike with elbow
